Watson-Marlow Bredel’s tough industrial
cased pumps are a team, and they’re on your
side. 520, 620 and 720, using continuous
tubing or elements, cover flows from 4μ/min
to 4,000 litres/hour, with high accuracy and
industrial compatibility.
- The simplest possible pumping
principle: no seals or valves to clog,
leak, corrode or replace.
- The perfect pump for difficult
fluids: caustic, abrasive, viscous,
shear-sensitive, gaseous, slurries,
suspended solids.
- Configured for industrial integration:
PLC remote control, analogue, network.
With its eight tubing sizes, the 520 range
has a flow ratio of 875,000:1, giving superb
control. As well as standard metering duties,
the 520 offers specialist pumping such as
multi-channel and minimal pulsation.
The versatile, medium-flow 620 is available
with two rollers, for maximum throughput,
or four rollers, for minimum pulsation.
Other pumpheads are available.
The 720 is a powerful pump which can
be fitted with one or two pumpheads: twin
channels double the flow for high-flow
metering or transfer.

High-flow CIP/SIP pumps |

High-flow hygienic pumping using USP Class VI Bioprene tubing or STA-PURE tubing. Designed for low-shear sanitary pumping duties up to 144 L/min and pressures up to 50 psi in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and food industries, 800 series pumps feature a true CIP (clean-in-place) and SIP (steam-in-place) facility. The twin stainless steel rollers disengage to lift off the USP Class VI Bioprene or STA-PURE tube, allowing a straight-through path for cleaning. There are no "dead spots" or crevices.
- 825 25mm pump provides max flow of 575 gph (36 L/min)
- 840 40mm pump provides max flow of 2289 gph (144 L/min)
- Hinged access door makes tube loading simple and safe.

Watson-Marlow Bredel pumps use either hoses which are reinforced against high pressure, or tubing which is unreinforced for lower-pressure duties. For accurate metering or dispensing and for long life, both must be be made with tightly-controlled formulations and dimensions. Only Watson-Marlow tubing and Bredel hoses are made for use in Watson-Marlow Bredel pumps.
Watson-Marlow tubing
Watson-Marlow is unique in being the only peristaltic pump manufacturer to have its own silicone tubing plant, giving users the benefits of a short supply chain and total quality. Tubing is available in seven different materials and 22 different sizes, from 0.13mm to 40mm. The range of Watson-Marlow tubing enables customers to configure their peristaltic pumps for specific applications.
